The Frankfort Kiwanis Club held the 3rd  annual Sgt. Shawn P. Martin Golf outing on Friday July 30 ,2010 at the challenging Pine Hills Golf Course. 

Sgt. Martin was killed in the line of duty in Iraq in June 2007. His wife, Mimi Martin, a native of Mohawk, is the spokesperson for the Fallen Stars Project, of which Frankfort Kiwanis is a proud sponsor.  The Fallen Stars Project was developed by the Herkimer Lions Club and Mohawk Crowley Barnum American Legion Post No. 25 as a way to honor all service men and woman from New York State that have lost their life during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.   

We would like to thank all the tee sponsors and golfers that particpated in this year's outing which was played on a beautiful sunny day.
